Blue Square North and South

Harrogate Town have signed Burton Albion's
James Knowles on a month's loan. Jason is an eighteen year old striker who had a spell at Grantham Town last season.

Northwich Victoria have announced the loan extension of 24 year old Jonathon D`Laryea to Christmas. He is on loan from Mansfield Town and has so far made 5 appearances for the Vic's and scoring no goals from midfield.

Alan O`Hare has completed an initial one month loan to Gainsborough Trinity from York City. Alan was signed by York in June this year, but has so far failed to make an appearance for the Minstermen.

Jamie Hand has been released by Blue Square South club Chelmsford Town, as he is no longer part of Head Coaches Glenn Pennyfathers plans.

Basingstoke Town have bought in midfielder Steve Laidler for the rest of the season after Farnborough Town had cancelled his contract by mutual consent.

Five players have been either released or transfer listed by Weymouth. The final straw came after Weymouth lost to lower graded Bishops Cleve 3-0 in the FA Cup. Andy Caton has been released, with lack of match fitness being cited as the reason why. Martin Slocombe, Matt Cooper, Matt Townley and Jordan Rose have been made available for either a permanent move, or a loan transfer.
