League Two news

Crewe have sacked Gudjon Thordason as manager, after a disappointing start to the season, which has left them 15th in the league. In his nine months at the helm Crewe have won 12, and drawn 18 of his 37 games in charge.

Transfer news

Chesterfield have announced Colchester United midfielder David Perkins on loan for a month. Perkins is on the transfer list at the Colchester Community Stadium. Meanwhile Adam Watts of Fulham has gone to Sincil Bank for a month's loan with Lincoln City.
