Action roundup

In the Blue Square Premier York City came out on top of a 5 goal thriller against Chester City as Richard Brodie scored a hat trick at the Kit Kat Crescent. His first goal came after just 33 seconds, his second was from the penalty spot. His hat trick was completed after 47 minutes, this goal took his seasons league tally to 14 joint with Cambridge United`s Chris Holroyd. Anthony Barry and Shaun Kelly replied for Chester City.

Alfreton Town joined three other teams on 31 points after registering a 2-0 home victory over Ilkeston Town. Fleetwood Town and Harrogate Town played out a thrilling 2-2 draw. Jamie Milligan grabbed a brace, but it was not enough as Rory Coleman replied 2 minutes after each of Fleetwoods goals. Meanwhile at Haig Avenue Southport extended their lead at the top of the top thanks to a 2-0 victory over Redditch.

In the Blue Square South Eastleigh recorded a 2-0 away victory at Dorchester thanks to goals from Richard Gillespie and Peter Adeniyi. Staines Town and Bath City fought out a 1-1 draw. St. Albans scored a late winner to overcome Woking 1-0.
