In the Blue Square Premier York City came out on top of a 5 goal thriller against Chester City as Richard Brodie scored a hat trick at the Kit Kat Crescent. His first goal came after just 33 seconds, his second was from the penalty spot. His hat trick was completed after 47 minutes, this goal took his seasons league tally to 14 joint with Cambridge United`s Chris Holroyd. Anthony Barry and Shaun Kelly replied for Chester City.
Alfreton Town joined three other teams on 31 points after registering a 2-0 home victory over Ilkeston Town. Fleetwood Town and Harrogate Town played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.
