Altrincham to host Primary Schools Funday
The home game against Forest Green Rovers on Saturday at Moss Lane will be an eventful day thanks to Altrincham's community football club. The club has been giving free coaching to eight local primary schools, and on Saturday there will be numerous events such as a meet the manager and player session, 5 a-side games before the match and at half time, and a skills demonstration by some talented youngsters. Graham Heathcote, Altrincham manager, said "We want everyone to come along & enjoy a real fun day out. The free coaching sessions that we have done in the eight participating schools have been hugely successful and we are looking to add more schools in the future as we strengthen our links within the local community. The players, Ken Mckenna and I are really looking forward to seeing everyone and our new Rocky Robin mascot will be making his debut appearance before the match!"
