Kettering closed the gap as they defeated Eastbourne Borough thanks to a 45th minute strike from Moses Ashikodi. In a very low scoring afternoon in the Blue Square Premier which saw only 14 goals in 11 matches, three games ended as goalless draw, these were the games at Ebbsfleet, Grays and Hayes and Yeading. Luton Town defeated Tamworth 2-1 just days after parting company with Mick Harford. Asa hall and Ben Wright gave the Hatters a 2-0 half time lead, before Alex Rodman pulled a goal back for the Lambs.
