Conference news

Bad training facilities have been blamed for the reason that Ebbsfleet United have made a disastrous start to the season that has left 22nd in the Blue Square Premier.

Chester City have announced former Hereford United legend Jimmy Harvey as their new manager for the rest of the season, replacing Mick Wadsworth, meaning that team captain Tim Ryan can concentrate on playing again after a short tenure as caretaker boss. Tim Ryan has recently expressed a desire to go into coaching once his playing career comes to an end.

Transfer news

Christoph Ascherl has joined Bedlington Terriers on a free transfer, after Gateshead had given him permission to leave.
