Transfer News
Firstly sorry about the late posting, I went to see Ricky Gervais at the NIA. Anyway to the transfer news that has happened today.
Firstly Luton have made a double swoop by signing Matt Barnes-Homer from Kidderminster Harriers on a months loan prior to being sold in the transfer window to the Hatters, and 19 year old winger Ashley Cain from Coventry City on a months loan. Cain has made 8 appearances for the Sky Blues. Matt Barnes-Homer transfer is believe to have commanded a five figure fee, which exceeded the minimum transfer value stipulated in his contract. As part of the deal Ryan Charles is heading to Aggborough on a months loan. Another player to leave Kenilworth Road is Andy Burgess who has arrived at Field Mill on a months loan, with a view to making the switch permanent in the window. The 28 year midfielder has only been at Kenilworth Road since the summer after being signed from Rushden and Diamonds.
Kettering Town striker Damien Spencer has also arrived at Aggborough on a months loan.
Gavin Rotheroy has joined Barrow from Carlisle United until January 3rd. The 22 year old midfielder has joined to get games under his belt as he has only made 6 appearances this season.
Simon Helsops stay at Rockingham Road has been extended by a month after an impressive first month with Kettering Town.
AFC Telford have announced the loan signing of Andre Gray who has arrived from Shrewsbury Town on a months loan. The 18 year striker who has made 5 substitute appearances this season has been loaned out to accumulate some first team experience.
Clark Keltie and Jon shaw, both 26, have arrived on loan from Rochdale. Midfielder Clark Keltie has recently been on loan at Chester City for two months. Striker Jon Shaw has only made one appearance, from the bench, this season.
Ebbsfleet United have signed Charlton Athletic's 19 year old striker Alexander Stavrinou on a loan. But leaving the Stonebridge Road club is midfielder Scott Shulton has joined Blue Square South Hampton and Richmond. He had been on loan, but contract with Ebbsfleet was cancelled by mutual consent.
