News Roundup

Basingstoke Town have today announced that 27 year old striker Phil Ruggles has been released from his contract by mutual consent because manager Frank Gray cannot guarantee Phil first team football. Also Fraser Franks' who has been loan from Brentford will be staying at The Camrose for another month.

AFC Telford United have added more players after signing Andre Gray from Shrewsbury Town yesterday. Damian Reeves joins the Bucks from Alfreton Town, and should be able to play at his former club Farsley on Saturday. Damian who is 23 years old is a striker. Finally left midfielder Sean Evans who was a Manchester United trainee has joined from Stourbridge Town. Leaving the Bucks on loan for a month is midfielder Danny Edwards. Danny has joined Halesowen Town who currently play in the Zamaretto Premier League.

Former Cambridge United chairman has helped to save Weymouth going into administration by buying the club.

Workington Towns' game against Eastwood Town has been given the go ahead to be played at Borough Park, unless there is more heavy rain. Before the game there will be a minutes silence for PC Bill Barker who tradegically died on Northside bridge.

Barrow have been busy signing players on loan following yesterdays signing of Gavin Rothery. Firstly striker Gregg Blundell has joined on loan from Chester with a view to making the move permanent, while Marc Goodfellow joins from Burton Albion on a months loan The 28 year old right winger has so far played 68 games for Burton Albion scoring 11 goals in the process.

Kettering Town have strenghtened their attacking options by signing 27 year old Grenadan striker Kithson Bain on loan until 5th January 2010.

Will Hendry has signed for AFC Wimbledon from Maidenhead United. Will Hendry had only joined the Magpies in September after a short and dissappointing spell at Dagenham and Redbridge.

19 year old midfielder Alex Francis has signed for Blyth Spartans on loan for a month from Gateshead.
