Manager and Player of the month announced
The managers and players of the month have been announced for the Blue Square leagues. They are as follows.:-
Conference Premier Manager was Martin Foyle of York City who has led the team to four victories in the league.
Richard Brodie capped a double for York City last month as he has been awarded with the player of the month after scoring 6 goals in 5 games last month.
Conference South Manager was perhaps unsurprisingly Dean Holdsworth of Newport County. His team has opened up an impressive lead at the top of the table. County won all three of their league games this month.
Welling striking Tom Whitnell was awarded the player of the month after scoring 3 goals in 5 matches, as well as setting up his teammates on numerous occasions.
Dean Thomas of Hinckley United scooped the Conference North award after his team has hit 16 goals in 6 matches last month, and winning three games.
Adam Webster also of Hinckley United joined his manager by winning player of the month for scoring 8 goals in 6 games for the Knitters, 4 of which came in the 7-3 FA Trophy victory over AFC Fylde.
