Record profits for the Bucks.

AFC telford United have announced record profits for the year 2008/2009 since the club was formed 5 years ago. The details were announced at the AGM of the Telford United Supporters Trust.
The profit for 2008/2009 was announced as £8,455, which represents a 436% increase on 2007/2008. The main reason given for the profits was AFC Telfords successful season on the pitch which included extra games played in the FA Cup, FA Trophy and the Setanta Shield and progressing to the final of the Conference North play offs.
Some interesting figures where announced in the report, some of these included:-
- Total income was £766,648, which was an increase of 34% on 2007/2008.
- Gates receipts accounted for £264,600
- Food and drink income was £81,801
- Prize money received was £117,783
- Total costs were £758,193
