Tuesdays Action Roundup - Blue Square North and South

The result of the night probably came from Twerton Park as Bath City beat promotion chasing Woking 5-0 thanks to goals from Kaid Mohamed, a brace from Darren Edwards, one in each half, Chris Holland and Andrejs Stolcers. Woking would have consolidated themselves in the promotion places if they had won. Bath are now just 4 points off the playoffs.

Another team to lose unexpectedly was Basingstoke Town as they went down to St. Albans 2-0 at Clarence Park. Goals from James Fisher and Gary Cohen in injury time in the second half meant Basingstoke went away empty handed.

FA Cup hero's Staines Town held promotion chasing Dover Athletic at home to a 0-0 draw to leave Dover 7 points behind leaders Newport County.

Ricky Holmes helped to move Chemlsford City up into the playoff positions thanks to a first half winner against Welling at Park View Road.

In the Blue Square North Hinckley United moved into 4th place thanks to a 1-0 victory over Norrthwich victoria thanks to a goal from Adam Webster.

Alfreton Town left the New Bucks Head empty handed as they lost 2-0 to Telford thanks to 2 first half goals from Andy Brown from the spot and Phil Trainer.

Gloucester City moved up to 12th place as they beat 3rd place Eastwood Town 3-0.
