Staines Town will be in the hat for this afternoons 3rd round draw after holding Millwall to a draw at the Wheatsheaf. Ali Chabaan scored a 79th minute penalty to equalize Paul Robinsons 69th minute header.Forest Green Rovers beat giantkillers Bath City at Twerton thanks to a deflected goal by Jonathon Smith and then a 48th minute winner by Mark Preece. Bath had a couple of chances but in the end they did not have enough to earn the equaliser.
At the Kassam Stadium Oxford and Barrow fought out a 1-1 draw. Jamie Cook gave theU's an early lead through Jamie Cook. After that though it looked like the game would go away from Oxford as in the 43rd at Barrow scored a penalty after Luke Foster bundled over Barrow striker Robin Hulburt as in was in on goal. Andy Bond tucked the penalty home .
Luton will host Rotherham at Kenilworth road as the two teams shared 4 goals. A Tom Craddock penalty gave the hatters the lead, and Mark Nwokeji scored in the 74 th minute to take the tie to a replay. Adam Le Fondre and Stephen Brogan scored the Millers' goals.
Richard Brodie scored his 18th goal of the season from the penalty spot to earn York City a place in the third round. York took the lead though in the 37th minute thanks to a wonderful strike from Michael Rankine. With 6 minutes to go Anthony Tonkin gave Cambridge United hope of earning a replay as he scored for the visitors, but in the end Cambridge could not get the goal that mattered.
Gordon Greer broke Wrexhams' hearts as he scored a late winner to see Swindon through. This was the only goal of the game. Wrexham almost held on despite Christian Smiths sending off in the 52th minute due to a nasty challenge on Jonathon Douglas.
Possibly the game of the day was at the Withdean where Rushden travelled to the south coast to take on Gus Poyets Brighton. Despite Lee Tomlin and Aaron O'Conners best efforts in scoring goals is was not enough as a Liam Dickinson brace, and a goal from the prolific Nicky Forster just saw The Seagulls through to the third round.
