It has been announced that Alton Thelwell will be leaving Newport County. The former Tottenham Hotspur defender will be joining Kettering Town this week, after the Welsh club received a 7 day offer from the Poppies.
Chester City will face an investigation into the events that surrounded the abandoned game on Saturday at the Deva Stadium. The game was abandoned after a handful of supporters invaded the pitch and protested about how the club is being run. The club will find out anytime soon what punishment they will receive for the non payment of debts.
Glynn Hurst has left Gainsborough Trinity by mutual consent because he his struggling to cope with the journey from his home in Liverpool to the Lincolnshire based club.
Histon have revealed that they have declined an offer for Gareth Gwillam from Dagenham and Redbridge. The Daggers were hoping to sign him on loan until January before making the move permanent.
Stafford Rangers have made two loan signings. Henrik Ojamaa joins from Derby County for a month. He joins fellow Rams team mate Jermaine Johnson at Marston Road. Warwick Alexander joins the club from the Stoke City Academy for an unspecified period of time on work experience. Both players are 18 years old and strikers.
Altrincham have announced that they have applied to join the Football League if the club win promotion via the playoffs. The club are currently in 10th spot in the Blue Square Premier just 6 points behind Mansfield who currently occupy the last playoff place. The application will ensure that the club can participate in the playoffs and have Moss Lane inspected to see if it meets up with Football League standards.
