Tonights football

There is just one game to be played tonight and that is in the Blue Square North. The game is to be played at Ewen Fields where Southport will be the visitors. Hyde go into the game needing a win to pull themselves clear of the relegation zone. A win for Hyde will see them move up to 13th spot level on points with Blyth Spartans. Southport can move themselves 10 points clear of Droylsden with a victory. Southport will have played two more games than Droylsden, and one more game than Eastwood Town.

Southport will go into the game full of confidence thanks to a 4-0 victory over Corby Town on Saturday. If Ciaran Kilheeney scores a hatrick he will move top of the goalscoring charts.
